Hi all. I frankly forget if I've made an introduction post or not, and if I haven't, eep! Sorry about that. I'm Chanter, she who writes the orange!verse of ysabetwordsmith's Schrodinger's Heroes project, among other (generally quite Wisconsin author-y) things.

I've been debating a little self-promotion beyond my own journal for a while, but hesitating - see subject line. Tonight I figured I might as well take the plunge, so here we go. If I've pulled an illegal maneuver by doing this, I'll take no offense to someone hitting the delete post button.

Everything beyond the jump is currently available for sponsorship. Much of it is orange!verse work, but one or two pieces are unrelated to that project.

Do you have any links or intro posts to the orange!verse or its characters? It's hard for an unfamiliar person to have any idea what these stories are about...

chanter_greenie's Orange!verse is listed on the original works page. It is a much darker dimension than my Scarlet!verse, but I really like its social explorations. The fun of a multidimensional series like this is that it lets people try out different versions of the same characters.

So far, the scarlet!verse SH team have appeared, but only Quinn and, briefly, Ash have shown up in the orange!verse. That universe's SH team will appear later on. The border folks in the north reeeeeeally grew on me with this project. :)

My timeline/reading order post for this 'verse is over thisaway, and thank you for poking me about writing up character descriptions and relevant details. I really do need to put something together for the Canadians, the Americans, and the others involved. I'll get my rough notes into proper post form the next time I have the brains. :)

If it helps at all, the notes at the ends of different fics have some character details in them. Maybe that'll be something in the interim?

Can and will do. I may borrow a little from your character sheet formatting for the folks in Terramagne, but it won't be identical, setup-wise.

That's fine. I have character descriptions for Schrodinger's Heroes too, and they follow a pattern, but it's not as formal.

Just to update you on this, I took your advice and got a character list for the orange!folks posted at my journal. It's not entirely complete (some of the characters are less detailed than others for the moment) but it's there. It needed doing, so thanks!

Ragchew=1321 words, Parliament Hill's Reply=373 words. So the latter is somewhere between a third and a fourth the length of the former.

This kind of self-promotion is perfectly okay. Monthly is a good schedule for periodic projects, weekly for ones that update more frequently. I usually post my poetry fishbowl news here once or twice a month.
