I know many of our crowdfunded things are not eligible, being self-published, but I know some publishers have used Kickstarter or other crowdfunding methods to stay open or get started, and I believe those, or most of those, are eligible. Also, many of us pursue botn crowdfunding and traditional publishing. Many of us may have both work that is eligible and work that is not.
