[identity profile] thesilentpoet.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] crowdfunding
The two freebies have been posted. Welcome to new promptor [livejournal.com profile] adeliej, who in turn, prompted today's second freebie.

The two poems are Alexandria and A Crack in the Maelstrom.

Currently available for purchase are the poems,

Trailing
That a historian could become a politician,
much less be appointed to the highest office
would have been preposterous,
if it was not that he claimed it was fate.

Promised Land
Because in 1945, the United States never invaded Japan,
defaulting to the neutral-Italy.

This is a Silk Road Allies poem.

Directly following 'Promised Land' is Averted.
With the China South Sea Crisis solved,
Napolitano retired with the President and Premier
back to his hotel. They ordered drinks
in place of tea, and sat tensely in the bar.

The previous Poetry for the Masses! poems are also still available.

Lost Jews
When Nixon finally re-opened the China Trade, he expected he’d
find lost European art, after all, the route had been well known
by allies, he’d not expected to find lost pockets
of Chinese-Jewish culture.

This is a Silk Road Allies poem.

Safe Room
Hunter had never been able to explain
just why he felt safe in the rare book room
...

This poem falls into the 64-squared 'verse, as does the second Hunter-centric poem 'Large Guns', which is also still available.

Prompts are still open through 4pm today! A second new prompter or commenter will trigger an additional freebie poem. Also, for every $5 increment tipped, you get an extra poem for your troubles.
