This is the new year, prompted and sponsored by starcat_jewel is now posted! So is the 2nd 13-word horror story.

At this time, the October-session of Poetry for the Masses is CLOSED. Thank you to new prompter and sponsor starcat_jewel, ysabetwordsmith, and wyld_dandelyon. Also, thank you to everyone who commented.

At this time, one poem is still left for sponsorship. A riff on the traditional haiku, 'Toasting Pumpkin Seeds', as prompted by ysabetwordsmith is a 5-7-7-5 poem about, well... toasting pumpkin seeds. If this poem is prompted, as a special bonus, I'll post the poem I wrote for 'National Coming Out' Day, which falls into the 64-squared 'verse, as well as a third and final 13-word horror story. No minimum payment - any amount will trigger this last perk.
