These are some new projects that caught my eye:

Wolverine conservation through citizen science

Born in avalanche chutes, wolverines thrive in places few people tread.

Citizen scientists are helping us conduct a noninvasive survey of

wolverines, using hair and cameras to assess how highways affect gene

flow.

What causes nausea and vomiting of pregnancy?

Although nausea and vomiting of pregnancy was documented by Aristotle in

the 4th Century B.C.E. and is believed to have killed acclaimed author

Charlotte Bronte, the cause is unknown, and will be elucidated in this

novel study.

I'm betting the nausea and vomiting is caused by hormones, as I get that just before my periods. Tossed a lot for a month while pregnant, but wasn't nauseated, just "Whups! 'Scuse please!"
