[identity profile] thesilentpoet.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] crowdfunding
So, after struggling with writer's block, CHAPTER SEVEN is finally posted!

On Dreamwidth or livejournal. As always, the Main landing page has links to previous chapters.

A sampling of chapter seven:
That Anya had not returned with Ryan was surprising, yes, but not enough to worry anyone. After all, Anya was certainly capable of taking care of herself, if and when, it came down to it. Even Ryan waved it off. “Something about errands,” he mumbled to Charlie, the younger man having raised a silent eyebrow at the only one person returning, right before he disappeared upstairs. He downed several more painkillers when he returned to his desk, eyeing the tiny pills in palm before he swallowed them dry, chasing them down with the soda he kept in his desk only after the fact. He proceeded to wolf down the pizza in large ravenous bites he had brought down with him, turning back on his computer. “I don’t - I can’t - know, or say really, where she went. I really don’t, know, that is.”
