"Once I Was" CD - Songs of Ricky Ian Gordon

I'm making a beautiful album of songs by Ricky Ian Gordon, with Ricky himself playing the piano on it. I'm a professional opera singer, but Ricky's music blends classical, Broadway, and jazz in an incredibly emotional way, and my singing style is intimate and expressive.

We're 10 days away from the campaign's end and we have only $1459 $895 left to go to meet our $5000 goal, which will pay for the entire thing.

There are lots of videos of me and Ricky performing songs from the program together at our Indiegogo site, as well as pictures, the story of how we met, and the story of how the program came to be.

I'm offering perks: posters, lessons, singing telegram, thanks on the CD label, private concerts, and of course, CDs and downloads.

Ricky's music has been recorded by Renee Fleming, Kristin Chenoweth, Audra Miller, and Dawn Upshaw. This is your chance to bring something truly special and beautiful into the world and help make a part of musical history.

I'm happy to hear that.

We have a lot of writers and artists, people who do divination, a handful of musicians, and a fair number of folks who do miscellaneous things like dancing. Then there are patrons, or folks who are both creators and patrons, posting about stuff they've recently sponsored or would like to see.
