Weekly Calendar Post 2/6-2/10
Feb. 6th, 2012 10:17 amSo, in the interest of not hogging this community with repeated posting flurries, I thought I might start to compile all of my weekly events and such into a once-a-week post.
These are the events I have scheduled at
shadows_gallery this week:
MONDAY 10 AM- 10 PM CST:
*Monthly Prize Drawing for a free digitally inked and colorized illustration based on the FSD sketch of your choice. Come by the landing page for the Prize Drawing and leave a comment with the image you would like to receive a finished piece from, and I will put your name into the drawing. One winner per prize drawing.
*Vote for the next three crowdfunding projects based on two days of FSD sketches. I will be doing two digitally inked and colorized illustrations and one digital painting based on the sketches of your choice. Contributors recieve the finished image file and a small print from Zazzle when project contributed to is complete.
TUESDAY 10 AM CST:
*Winners of the Prize Drawing and Crowdfunded Projects Vote announced.
*Free Sketch Day! Come by the FSD landing page and leave your one word prompts, and I will create a free quick sketch for you. Tips will go towards funding one of the crowdfunded pieces currently in production, and tippers will receive full sized file images of the crowdfunded piece specified, and a small print of the image. I will be open for prompts until 3 p.m.
WEDNESDAY 10 AM- THURSDAY 10 PM:
*$5 Character Portrait Days! Come to the landing page for CPD and leave your detailed description of your original role playing or fictional characters (no fan art, please). I will create a greyscale drawing for $5.
FRIDAY EVENING (approximately 6 PM):
*Tutorial: Drawing eyes using a Wacom tablet and Gimp. Tips will go towards funding one of the crowdfunded pieces currently in production, and tippers will receive a full sized file image of the crowdfunded piece specified, and a small print of the image.
Be sure to check back at
shadows_gallery routinely or add it to your friend feed for updates! Hope everyone has a lovely week.

That sounds really cool. I think tutorials are great, and often look at them even though I don't do that kind of art.
