Previously the idea of a broad-focus creative jam was proposed and then discussed further. Below are some questions about its parameters. Please share your opinions.
EDIT 9/28/11: I forgot to put a closing time on this earlier. Votes are winding down; there's only one more today than when I checked yesterday. I'll close the poll tonight and announce answers. If you haven't voted yet, now's the time.

Date: 2011-09-27 12:54 pm (UTC)I like Misfits because it's a broad, friendly theme, which seems a good idea for the first go.
I still like the idea of a Sunday/Monday event, not quite weekend, not quite weekday, but that option wasn't in the list.
Regarding time limits, I chose one hour for "something produced/worked on for" but not necessarily finished product. For finished product, I'd go with either one week or whenever. (My concern with "whenever" is that stuff will just get abandoned and prompters will end up unsatisfied.)
I think this question needs to be revamped to be more specific.
I think people should be able to choose whether someone riffs off their work. Art can be very personal and artists can be vulnerable, and I'd like to appeal to all artists.
As I've mentioned in the past, I feel specific artists and world/character requests are exclusionary and could cause jealousy or other ill-feeling.
My opinion, as always.
