Communal Site for Licenseable Cover Art?

This post by haikujaguar sparked an interesting discussion both on LJ and out of it (here is a link to the related thread on Kindleboards).



One thing some indipendent writers mentioned is trawling art galleries for already-made art available for licensing as cover, which can be 
frustrating and time consuming for both the writer and the artist 

One of the comments to the original post proposed a communal gallery offering only art licenseable for covers. Ideally such a site would be
searchable by genre, price, artist name and, possibly, available rights.

I have posted a poll  to gauge interest in such a possibility, please weight in and spread the word.
