[identity profile] ysabetwordsmith.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] crowdfunding
The June theme was "alternative sexuality and gender studies." A handful of prompts arrived early, some trickled in through the day, and then another flurry came right at the end. (If I stay up late enough, my farside fans are in daylight and thus more active.) There were 81 comments, including a fair bit of crosstalk. I worked from 1 PM to 2 AM, so about 11 hours accounting for breaks. Most of the poems were medium-long, with one short, a few medium-short and long, and several epics. I wrote 20 poems, all free verse except for one epistolary. Most came from single prompts, with a few combinations.

A total of 19 people sent prompts. Welcome to new prompters [livejournal.com profile] rowyn, [livejournal.com profile] morrigans_eve, and [livejournal.com profile] heavenscalyx, who are partly responsible for the second freebie poem. No serial perk this time, though; donations were lower this month, which often happens in summer.

Buy Some Poetry!
If you plan to sponsor some poetry but haven't made up your mind yet, read the list of unsold poems from June. That includes the title, length, price, and the original thumbnail description for the poems still available.

Sponsored poems have all been posted. Copies of other poems have been sent backchannel to their respective prompters. The "Serial Poetry" page on my website has been updated to list "Fiorenza and the Witch-Son" and "The Twin Peoples in Love." The generally sponsored poetry poll is also up.

The June perk-post for donors is about "The Epistolary Form." Donors for June include: [livejournal.com profile] morrigans_eve, [livejournal.com profile] the_vulture, [livejournal.com profile] janetmiles, and [livejournal.com profile] idhren24. Welcome to new donors [livejournal.com profile] morrigans_eve and [livejournal.com profile] idren24! They've helped make that second freebie poem available. Thank you, everyone, you're all awesome.
