I do recommend that people who want to know "everything" read the Memories posts for this community, though. Those cover a lot. I've reprinted some of them, and added other stuff, in the Crowdfunding tab on my website too:

When in doubt, ask your audience. They can tell you what would appeal to them, and may think of things that would never occur to you. Many of the features now part of my Poetry Fishbowl project were suggested by my audience.
Then too, consider that some things work equally well for most or all types of project. An "honor wall" listing donors by name is one good example. You might create a small gift for donors, such as a postcard or bookmark. For input, think about any areas where you feel a little uncertain what to do; ask for audience input there. You can also ask people what they like best about a project, or want to see more of.
What kind of non-serial project are you considering? That might help pin things down a bit more.

An anthology of short stories and/or a novella.

In particular, audience interaction through discussion of each story gave inspiration for some of the later ones.
A novella might be harder to structure for crowdfunding, unless you broke it down into chapters and shared the developmental process.
