Filmmaker Nathaniel Hansen has only three days left to raise money for his feature length documentary called The Elders. Above you can see an example of what Nathaniel has in mind for his film project. I think it's a wonderful portrait of Pat, a woman who runs a shop with her sister. Nathaniel introduces his post on his new project with a quote from Simone de Beauvoir: By the way in which a society behaves toward its old people it uncovers the naked, and often carefully hidden, truth about its real principles and aims.

The film is currently 59 percent funded. Pledges can be as little as $1. I think it's a very worthwhile project. If you click on the Kickstarter widget below, you can watch Nathaniel talking about what the project involves.
