Titania is Funded!

Titania just reached $10,000 at Kickstarter, with more than a day to go. Excellent news for all the cast and crew involved in the film. Incidentally, the Kickstarter widget sometimes gives a lower total but I've checked twice and it says $10,000.

It was a big figure they needed in comparison to some other Kickstarter projects - for example I saw another film that needed $2000, and which had well exceeded it's target but has yet to reach its deadline. Crowdfunding is certainly a very valuable tool and there's some really great work going on in short film. I'm not a big fan of modern Hollywood cinema.

I like some of what Hollywood produces, but it tends to be very repetitive, and much of it just doesn't grab me. More alternatives would be very nice.
