I'm hosting a discussion of ebooks and their accessibility to vision-impaired people. This started when a friend was thinking about writing an article on the topic and called for input.

However, I am also thinking about releasing some of my writing in ebook format, and I'd like it to be accessible to a wide audience. I suspect this may be a useful niche for crowdfunded projects, stuff like novels, short story collections, poetry collections, etc. because the overall selection of accessible titles is a lot lower than mainstream print titles. So if you drop, say, your SF ebook into a pool of 1,000 ebooks then its competition is much lower compared to the tens of thousands of print books it would compete with on an ordinary bookshelf.

Other folks are invited to join the discussion if you are interested in accessible literature and/or publishing your writing in an accessible format.
