Crowdsource Tarot -- physical cards
Oct. 3rd, 2009 09:32 pmA couple months ago,
beetiger and I did a crowdsource project. We put up a poll on LiveJournal, asking for single words, and got 86 of them, like Cat and Gazebo and Overload. We used them as the names of cards of a Tarot deck, and put up a tool for getting readings over the web. It turned out to be a very insightful, if rather blunt and somewhat snarky, deck. This part is crowd-funded.
We're now producing physical decks of cards, and selling them to those who will. I suppose that this is the equivalent of a printed version of an on-line crowdfunded story or something.
Come look if you're into Tarot!
