The Roman View
Sep. 27th, 2009 08:04 pmIn the latest installment on The Roman View - Chapter XXI - Roman Pets And Parades - our Roman friend seems to be settling in to his 'new' neighborhood. It seems like displays of pomposity are a source of amusement no matter where or when you live:
The General demanded that the procession go forward, while the now hysterical Tribune was gesturing frantically at the street, on the edge of a nervous breakdown. The General yelled, the animals smiled, the Tribune cried, and the procession went nowhere. This was going to be fun to watch.
This installment also contains a small (very small, but delightful, I hope) tribute to one of our patrons. I do hope she enjoys it.
Also, if anyone is interested, my essay of meandering thoughts is posted at Make A Wish Upon Tomorrow.
