beetiger and my latest collaboration is The Crowdsource Tarot. We put a poll up on LiveJournal asking everyone for words, and got 87, and designed images and meanings for them. They even fell nicely into seven sensible suits plus one trump. So, it's up on the web, as a cyberfunded project, complete with a gadget to do automatic readings and such.

This turned into an amazing deck! I haven't had a chance to playtest it yet, but I greatly enjoyed reading about it. You two did a superb job with the card descriptions and interpretations. It sounds very useful.

I'm working on a review of your deck, and I noticed this bit on the front page of the site:

"The Crowdsource Tarot is copyright 2009 Victoria Borah Bloom and Bard Bloom. You may redistribute this freely in whole or part provided that the text is not changed and this copyright notice is included."

You might want to check out the Creative Commons licensing system, which may fit your needs better than traditional copyright.

Pick a card and do it! Please follow the description of the image we've done
rather than a more general/different concept of the word, send a large jpg to
the Crowdsource email (crowdsourcetarot@makeincense.com), and let us know how
you'd like to be credited. We don't mind duplicates if it happens, but if you
want to "claim" a card you want to work on, drop us a line and we'll keep
track.
