Oh hello, I just joined the community. A bit about me:
I am Jolantru or Saber (or Joyce) and I respond to all either way. From Singapore, an ex-teacher, writer, gardener, Christo-Pagan. My projects are mostly speculative fiction and a bit of pagan writing.
I have to confess that I am totally new to the whole concept of cyberfunded creativity, probably because of my inherent anxiety about self-promotion. I don't really like self-promotion: it makes me feel totally fake and come across as such. (Hehe, then why am I here?). Anyway, I still need to work out on my own issues regarding cyberfunded creativity.
Okay. My projects (or completed works) are:
1. My Scribd Page: where I put in current fiction.
2. Forest Walk: my Lulu storefront with my existing stories/anthologies.
3. Envisioning: A Collection of Speculative Fiction: my speculative fiction e-book with a special arrangement with Bards and Sages Publishing.
I am still working out the kinks here, so apologies if I sometimes come across as ambivalent regarding cyberfunded creativity.

Welcome!
Date: 2009-06-12 03:44 am (UTC)It's okay if you are ambivalent about self-promotion and cyberfunded creativity. Some other folks are too. Of course, some of us are shameless me-merchants! My best suggestion is to watch what other people do and see what appeals to you.
Would you like me to add your Scribd page to the Links list here?

And yes, I am still ambivalent about the whole thing, though I just posted something about my novella (it's friends-locked, at the moment). Hehe.
