Date: 2008-07-15 10:54 pm (UTC)Most of the work I'm concentrating on right now is time-sensitive not-really-cyberfunded_creativity: things like calendars and books that need to be printed as soon as possible. I've got a fair that I vend at every year coming up the first week of August, so most of my energy is getting things ready by then!
But, I am plugging away at a personal project that is much more along the CFC model. I've been working on it for years now, and have a ways to go before it goes public still (though little bits have), and it's been curious to me to watch other people have 'the same ideas' and see how they've dealt with problems and choices I've run into, too. (And they've given me ideas for other potential problems with it that I'd never even considered!)
The project is Torn World (http://tornworld.net), and 2010 seemed much further off when I started... before I realized How Much work it was going to be.

Date: 2008-07-16 12:35 am (UTC)Calendars are cool. My main summer writing project is the Llewellyn annuals. The 2009s just arrived, as I'm working on the 2010s. Need to review those.
I'd love to hear more about Torn World! The art there is lovely.
