I've been doing cyberfunded creativity since November; my Wind Tunnel Dreams project paid for my cat's surgery. Brief summation: Readers gave me writing prompts, I wrote flash fiction, readers sponsored me. Read all about it here!

I'm doing a very special fundraiser next week. My 13-year-old daughter wants to go to Explo this summer, and I think it would be fantastic for her. Unfortunately, it's $2,000 for one session, $3,500 for two. I've spoken with her, and she understands that that's an awful lot of money. I asked if she'd be willing to help raise said money, and she agreed.

So. Starting next week, it's double the Wind Tunnel Dreams from double the Gojirawitz Girls.

Every day, Elayna and I will tackle the same fairy tale (suggest fairy tales here!) and tell it our way. I'll post both stories, and you'll vote with your dollars - in the comments field of PayPal, tell us whether you're sponsoring based on my story or hers. I'll keep a running tally. All sponsors will get a secret bonus story by the winner.

Wind Tunnel Dreams: The Gojirawitz Girls Challenge starts on Monday.

Wow!

That sounds like a cool project. *laugh* Brings back memories of some creative stuff I did to raise money for projects when I was growing up. The trips to Mexico and Russia in high school were definitely worthwhile.
