Cyberfunded Creativity for Health
Mar. 1st, 2008 12:11 amI found this post on
newroticgirl's LJ. It tells about a comic artist who needs massive dental work. Not having more conventional means of raising huge sums of money, she has gone looking for donations. The cyberfunded creativity aspect? Check out the banner.

That's what attracted <user site="livejournal.com" user="newroticgirl">'s attention, enough to post in her own blog; and what caught my eye as I scrolled down my Friends page. It's working, too; so far over $3,000 has been raised. Using CFC to fund medical bills for people/pets seems to occur to people fairly easily -- this is at least the third version I've spotted, and I doubt that any of them are related.
