Plans for May

May started off with a bang! I tallied up my writing in both the main story arc and in the other stories posted (usually sponsored). For the Redshift story arc, I published 24,390 words, while the collection of other stories totaled 30,595. Together, that amounts to 54,985 words of only the stories, excluding headers and other information. That’s a novel’s worth of casual reading.

I hope to write and post more in May.

My first crowdfunding event is hosting the Poetry Fishbowl Linkback for ysabetwordsmith. I coordinate posting verses of a poem that she’s selected as rewards for the people who signal boost for the event.

I hold two prompt calls in a month. The first is “Magpie Monday,” which has a theme, and “Feathering the Nest” which is focused on comfort, cuddles, and other gentle fiction.

Magpie Monday falls on 11 May of 2020. The theme this month is: putting the bottom rungs on the ladder. More details to follow.

Feathering the Nest falls on 25 May of 2020. Readers are encouraged to be as specific and self-indulgent as they like for this event.
