What are your planned crowdfunding projects for July? What did you accomplish during June?

Magpie Monday! YES! The prompt call that focuses on IDEAS! The theme this month is “new experiences,” and readers are invited to interpret that as they will! The free fiction will post beginning the next day, and that's all I know about it so far!

Weekend, 13-14-15 July
The Crowdfunding Creative Jam! I plan to write something and post it as a freebie on Monday, 17 July. Join in the fun!

Monday, 23 July
Feathering the Nest! HOORAY! The prompt call that focuses on COMFORT, especially nonsexual intimacies in all their forms. Again, something will post on Tuesday, the 25th, which gives me the same thrill of anticipation as a wrapped birthday gift!

I'm thinking about putting out a tip jar/donation button, at least on my "Computer Curmudgeon" posts. So far I've done five in the last two months (which is when I started using the tag; I need to go back and find more posts that fit).

Also, of course, wondering what's the best way to crowdfund. Paypal? Patreon? Ko-fi? Buy Me A Coffee? (That one takes a pretty wide variety of payment methods.)

A key distinction is between projects that run all the time (use Patreon) or projects that have a defined timespan (use Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, etc.). Another is between open funding (any amount helps) and closed funding (it has to make the goal in order to work at all). Some sites offer only one of those; some let you choose which you want. PayPal is flexible and gives you various options on payments.
