February was a /wonderful/ month for the Magpie Monday, and for the month overall, I wrote 76K worth of fiction!

ysabetwordsmith's Cuddle Pile! After reaching my word count goal for the day, I'm going to reward myself by writing cuddles, so if you 'see' my first reply, feel free to ask for some kind of 'cuddle'. Everyone needs breathing room, and comfortable places to be themselves, and the cuddle pile is a great opportunity! (Not a crowdfunding activity, but a much valued social venue.)

Nonsexual Intimacy prompts. As my enthusiastic answer to the recurring cuddle pile, I'm offering a second day of prompts, all designed around short scenes of nonsexual intimacy. Rather than plot, the goal is comfort for the reader, so these will be constructed as stand-alone scenes. Please join in!

Potential Crowdfunding Project

I started a new project of magical realism microfiction, over on tumblr and mirrored on DW for ease of commenting. Now that I have a month's back catalogue of material for readers, I've started spreading the word about it.

My hope is, if there's enough interest, I'll take prompts and do polls for which stories or subjects people would like to read as longer pieces. Those would then go into microfunding. It would be a first for me. *sweats*

Super excited for this month's Jam theme. Thinking of bugging my tumblr followers for prompts as well and making a big thing of it. Favorite trope is favorite. :D

Wow, some of those are awesome. <3 feral book colonies. I can't help thinking of the secret society of librarians in Terramagne.

See above re: feral books. If you drag that in front of my audience they will probably swarm you.

Go for it! That would be so awesome. We can always use new projects. Maybe it would introduce more folks to the Creative Jam in general. \o/
