The Rose & Bay Awards celebrate excellence in cyberfunded creativity. Today is the last day for nominations, so if you haven't made yours yet, do it now! We only have one person nominating in Patron, so that has the greatest need for additions. If you do crowdfunding, please nominate at least one of your patrons. These are the categories:

Webcomic (4 nominations)
Other Project (7 nominations)
Patron (3 nominations)

You can help by nominating your favorite crowdfunded works and supporters from 2017. The voting polls should go up in Dreamwidth on February 1.

This is off-topic, but have you written anything about your crowdfunding method? I love writing poetry for people but I've never tried to crowdfund that; I always thought if I ever crowdfunded my writing it'd be a novel.

If you want to learn more about my own crowdfunding projects, the next Poetry Fishbowl will be on Tuesday, February 6. I encourage you to drop by and give me prompts, watch the crosstalk among the audience, and read poetry as it gets posted.

The Creative Jam is customarily on the third weekend of the month, in this community, and a good opportunity try crowdfunding your own material. I usually post one of those for free and put a price on the rest.

I'd love to see more poets crowdfund their work, so by all means, give it a try!
