I've been thinking about ways to make online friendships fulfill the practical role of local friendships. One of those involves using long-distance services for things like moving, cleaning, babysitting, etc. You never know, someone might send you a gift certificate for a maid service.

Date: 2017-10-03 01:43 am (UTC)Which means, as of the new year, I'll have chapters to go up as a 'leader' and can start crowd funding it...[see previous statement for the reason why I want a few chapters in hand]
I freely admit to being a bit daunted by that... and may just wait until it's complete and put it on amazon. [yeah I know.. not really crowd funding] I also might be just a tad bit too British to be comfortable with the necessary level of self-promotion required to run a crowd-funding campaign. [ok, it makes me cringe inside!]
So.. helpful advice maybe?

Amazon is a very different venue.

You could always hire someone to run the promo for you.

I have a whole section on Crowdfunding, including lots of How To pages. In case you decide to post it live, see also my How to Write Serial Poetry section. It generalizes well to fiction.
