What are your planned crowdfunding projects for December? What did you accomplish during November?
There is no Creative Jam in December, to give folks a holiday break. It will return in January!

Date: 2016-12-03 12:49 pm (UTC)I also put a song about a cat online, though I only got the recording online yesterday. I'm really pleased with this, as I've managed to collaborate with a bunch of other people -- the poet, the lady who helped sing it, and the artist who did the drawing of Yantantessera.
In December I'd like to finish and post either a piece that I've done for my PhD, which will have to be without recording as I am unlikely to find a choir for it, or a piece I've had for ages and hope to have a demo recording of soon. It kindof depends on how long it takes for the demo recording guy to get corrections back to me, and THAT in turn depends on how quickly I finish my final proofreading and get in touch with him.
I also hope to have a new demo recording of Advent as the existing one, from the world premiere of the piece, is not amazing in terms of sound quality and doesn't have the music to follow along with.
I may need to get some postcards printed for new patrons, as the ones I ordered haven't arrived yet. Moo is usually pretty good on this so I am going to give it another few days.
I need to start thinking about an appropriate postcard for next quarter. It'll be March, and Lent is pretty early this year, so maybe something drawing inspiration from a Lenten hymn would be appropriate; or, alternately, something vaguely spring-like (my patrons are so far overwhelmingly in the northern hemisphere). But I don't need to make a decision on this before January.

That's exciting. It's often fun to collaborate with people. I've really enjoyed the handful of times someone has recorded my lyric poetry.

Good luck with that. I usually buy holiday cards for mine, long ones to hold the patron bookmarks.
