The January Creative Jam will run Saturday 16-Sunday 17 with a theme of "art and artisans."

December was the opposite of crowdfunding; I posted eleven stories in 31 days, and specifically wrote 8,346 words in two days for my own Magpie Monday.

This year, January's Magpie Monday will be on the 11th, with a theme of "transformation."

I'm hoping to be more successful with crowdfunding on my Patreon in January! I've completely overhauled the milestones to appeal more to my core audience. I'll also be holding monthly prompt calls that are open to everyone instead of limiting them to patrons. My patrons just aren't the prompting type, it seems...

It's fascinating how different audiences can be. My fans are consistently very prompty. But I have batches who strongly favor poetry, and another cluster who strongly favor fiction.

I wish you luck with your Patreon efforts! By all means, please post about your prompt calls here. This community has lots of folks who prompt with enthusiasm.

December was making progress for Berettaflies and attempting to organize my ideas in some semblance of an order.

January 15 is the current date for Thank Muse It's Friday, a prompt session. I'm hopeful but a little nervous.
