crowdfundingIt's been a long time since I posted to this community, because I've found myself lacking time to do anything that isn't work recently, and before that I was dealing with coming to terms with the death of my father. Then, about two weeks ago, James managed to slip a disk in his back, so I've been looking after him and working and trying to keep on top of doing everything that needs to be done. However I'm now back to crowdfunding on a more regular basis, although I can't do it the same way I once did, thanks to the new EU laws (thank you for that, EU, I really appreciate it).
So I have my Patreon account. I've posted some of my older work there, I'm going to be posting some free stories in my collections, and it's basically going to be my paywall. More of my work is going to go behind it in the near future than I will be posting free, at least until I'm making at least $400 a month there. I want, in the future, for Patreon to be able to pay my rent, instead of me having to ghostwrite, which will give me the freedom to post more for free.
For those of you more interested in my custom writing I have my Etsy shop. Money made from anything I sell here will be going to pay the rent, at least until I have that covered in some way, and then I'll be putting it towards the groceries. It's only once I've made $1200 in a month I'll be able to buy anything nice for myself or be able to put anything into savings. With this in mind I might set myself up a rent counter at the website for people to see how well I'm doing with making my own writing my main earner.
