Date: 2014-08-18 08:05 pm (UTC)* Monster motivations that go beyond "attack anything that moves." Sometimes they are hungry. Sometimes they collect things for mate attraction. Sometimes they are nesting. I did a whole marine ecosystem this way in Torn World, and would love to see what you could do with monster motivations.
* What it's like for someone with species dysphoria to look at objects and see prosthetics where others see costumes or toys. I'm thinking of things like the robotic cat ears or dog tails that respond to your brain waves.
