What cyberfunded creativity projects have you donated to or participated in lately? What made them special enough to attract your support?

What do you want that you haven't been seeing, or would like to see more of?  Do you have ideas that you want to prompt, but aren't sure what creator would be a good match for them?

This month's theme was "rights and responsibilities."  I worked from about 1:15 PM to 1:30 AM, so about 10 hours 15 minutes, allowing for lunch and supper breaks.  I started with offline prompts, then got a steady flow of new prompts, which tapered off.  I wrote 12 poems, just over half of them epics.  Most were combined prompts, and all free verse.

Activity was low.  Only 12 people sent prompts.  There were 32 comments on LiveJournal and another 2 on Dreamwidth, including mine.  Not much crosstalk either.

Buy Some Poetry!
If you plan to sponsor some poetry but haven't made up your mind yet, read the list of unsold poems from September. That includes the title, length, price, and the original thumbnail description for the poems still available.

The linkback perk poem "Alone in the Bee-Loud Glade" has 5 of 15 verses posted.  You can reveal more verses by linking to the unsold poetry list, this report, or one of your favorite poems from this month's fishbowl.

All currently sponsored poems have been posted, and prompters have their backchannel copies of the rest.  Per the $200 goal, "A Princely Abode" is the free epic.  Per the $250 goal, this is the third tally; there will be a mid-month fishbowl on Tuesday, September 18.  Per the $300 goal, there will be a half-price sale, which I'm scheduling for mid-October; I'll do a poll for that closer to its launch.  There is also a bonus perk, "Cover Stories," for crossing the $400 threshold.

I still need to write the donor perk-post.  Donors this month include Stephen Laird, [livejournal.com profile] janetmiles, Anthony & Shirley Barrette, [livejournal.com profile] the_vulture, [livejournal.com profile] zianuray, and [livejournal.com profile] rix_scaedu.  Also [livejournal.com profile] marina_bonomi and [livejournal.com profile] ravan came in after the deadline.  It's all good.  Big thanks to everyone who chipped in.

Also, if you're following my Cottoncandy_bingo posts, these poems fill squares and are available for sponsorship:
"The Tapestry of Nocciolaia" (Fiorenza the Wisewoman, $10)
"Of Water and the Wheel" (Kung Fu Robots, $20)
"Hrafn's Nest" (Hart's Farm, $50)
The Serial Poetry page has been updated, and you can watch that for further poems that may appear later.

The Poetry Fishbowl project also has a permanent landing page.

October is National Arts & Humanities Month.  Now is a good time to start planning crowdfunded art projects for October.  You can post here about your plans to attract extra attention.
