However, this is where I confess that due to a family visit and a bit of writer's block I've almost caught up with myself. I was doing fairly well at keeping ahead (and I do have a few additional Megan scenes and beyond a bit from writing the original draft of this for NaNo a couple of years ago) but the next scene is a John scene and he's a bit tricky to write some times. 

I seem to have broken through the writer's block this morning so I'm hopeful that I'll be okay for next week. 

This did get me thinking, however, on what to do if I actually do catch up with myself at some point, and I thought that I could potentially write drabbles that are "side stories" to the main plot and wondered what people might be interested in seeing? Childhood snippets of the main characters? Bits of current plot/flashback I might have that I haven't shown yet? or bits of other stories that I have in the pipeline?

Additionally, do people know of other places this could be shared? I had thought that there is some place like fanfiction.net but for works of actual fiction?
