I have a list of online money-handlers on my Crowdfunding Economics page. Based on a request, I've updated the entry with a summary of features for each service, citing what I could readily find on their websites. Many of them are not good about listing what they do, but at least this is a start.

Do you use a money-handler that is not on this list? Give me their URL and I can add them.

I have accounts with WePay (which I've seen more and more groups use particularly for fundraising), and Dwolla, though I haven't yet used either of them enough to know their ups and downs. And it's been long enough since I read their FAQs that I'd be hard-pressed to give good summaries, but WePay seems to be very similar in how it works to Paypal, and Dwolla circumvents use of credit cards entirely, and has some other features, too.
