I can't make both polls contain all entries. There are 18 entries. I can only put 14 items in one poll question.
They have to be broken up in groups. I chose the order of nomination, so as not to be accused of arranging the categories to favor one or more nominees.
Yes, this exposes a problem in using LJ for this award. However, I am not the creator of the award, nor the one who runs it. I volunteered to help with this category, this year.
I do know that last year there was a post-mortem post. The public was asked for input, and I think it would certainly be worthwhile to mention your concerns there.
There will be a final poll with the top 14 nominees in one question, the first week in March.
