Good day!
I'm Nathan, not a creator but a supporter of various crowdfunded projects since before I had ever heard the word crowdfunding, and I'm here now to spread the word about a project I'm very excited about. Matthew Stover, one of my favorite novelists, is working on a comic feauturing his greatest character, Hari Michaelson, aka Caine, an actor who is sent to Overworld, a parallel world in which magick works, to have Adventures for the entertainment of observers back on earth -- the ultimate in reality entertainment, if you want to think of it that way. The first novel in the series was described as The Day of the Jackal meets The Lord of the Rings, to give you an idea of the tone.
The comic, OverWorld: The Chronicles of Ankhana, is written by Matthew Stover and penciled by T J Halvorsen. You can find more information at OverWorld.tv, and also at the Kickstarter site, where you may also donate if you're so inclined. While the first issue of the comic has been funded, the more we can raise, the more issues we can guarantee -- giving the comic a greater chance to catch on and sustain itself -- and the better quality materials can be used. So if it sounds interesting to you, please check it out, and if it sounds like something that may be of interest to anyone you know, we appreciate any signal boosting.
