There are more themes and styles than I can easily describe-- do a search for "stitch marker" sets and you may be pleasantly surprised. You've already got the skills, but this is a way for those of us who don't like jewelry to also get our geek on!

Many stitch markers are simply a closed jewelry link, sometimes shaped but often not, with a small bead glued over the seam to prevent snagging, like this:
