Tomorrow is the Magpie Monday for May!

Readers are invited to drop in and offer prompts to the theme of “fairy tales.” I am quite fond of inverting tropes, pretzellating the expected plot, and generally playing with every aspect from gender to setting. Everyone who offers at least one prompt will get a private reading copy of the fill written.

For those who boost the signal, I will add more words to your prompt fill, and to say thank you to everyone who participates, a new story will post as a freebie on Tuesday, 15 May.

Since this is a global site, a note on dates and times: I will open the prompt call with a post, and close it just before Tuesday turns into Wednesday here. (I am in California, and it's still Sunday for me.)
