2016 Rose & Bay Award Advance Planning

It's time to discuss plans for the 2016 Rose & Bay Award season.  Check out the 2016 Landing Page.  Full details for the project appear on the landing page; you can ask here if you have any additional questions.

The categories are: Art, Fiction, Poetry, Webcomic, Other Project, and Patron.  These need volunteers to manage them, preferably someone who isn't eligible for nomination in that category.  This year I could be nominated for Fiction, Poetry, and Patron so those areas have the highest need for someone else to cover them.  Look on the landing page for details about becoming a category manager; it's pretty straightforward.

Nominations will be open from January 1-31, 2016 for crowdfunding projects active in 2015.  If that's you, please check your project to make sure it's clearly marked as crowdfunded, and give your audience some advance notice of this award.  If you've been running a free project and want to get involved, you still have plenty of time to post a tip jar for it or run a special paid session, etc. -- any kind of monetizing method is eligible.

Voting will be open from February 1-28, 2016.

Everyone can help by spreading the word about this award.  Post in blogs, communities, hub sites, etc. -- anywhere you think folks would like hearing about a crowdfunding award.
