Until the end of March I'm having a half price sale of all story bundles, all three and six month character adoptions, and all three and six month setting rentals. Purchasing during a sale includes a half price adoption or rental after the first has finished or I've completed your bundle, and this is something that doesn't have any limits, so you can buy during this sale and the next and get two added half price rentals or adoptions.

I've updated my donor perks, to show all of the options available if you are interested in them, as well as adding a I Don't Want A Perk Perk, for anyone who just wants to help out. This comes after reading something yesterday that made me think it would be a good option to have, although I would love to have more people who create characters and settings, because I know there are some people who aren't interested in added bonuses. They just want to say thank you for posting something that I enjoyed reading and by donating I know that's something I should work on more.

What I really would like is a couple more people sponsoring collections. This can be a one off, a monthly, or a weekly sponsorship, and it's something that will really help when it comes to having enough money for groceries and rent. I was thinking about it this morning, actually, because I have this feeling that people don't realise how important £3 can be (which is around $5). That will get me a pint of milk, a loaf of bread and a kilo of pasta. The pasta and milk are the beginning of a meal - yes, I need a couple of other things, but that does really help. Or I can buy the loaf of bread and a four pack of battered fish, which can make James a really nice sandwich (with the addition of some butter and mayo) for work. Or I can buy the pasta and some of my favourite beans, which means I have can make at least three meals. (I have very strange eating habits.) Or we can go all out and put that money towards our favourite cereals, something we don't get to have very often because they're so expensive.

My aim for this year is to manage to cover the groceries from the money I make via my website. For this I need around £80, depending on what we buy and where we buy it from. I want to be able to do this every month, so knowing that I have some definite money coming in every month, no matter how little it is, is something that gives me some stability. Stability will make both James and I less stressed.
