Live Journal was down for me for a day and a half.  I about pulled out my hair.

Anyway, I've got art to share, and new Memoirs stuff!

First, I'll share the update on "Nebula."  I did some work on the face and figure, so took a detail shot of it.  The image links to the landing page of the project, where you can see a larger version, an image progression, and a place to contribute to the project.

This is Galatea, a part of Evelyn's past in my ongoing Web Fiction project Memoirs of a Tourist.  You can click these thumbnails for the full sized DeviantArt versions.

This is Trick, another character in Memoirs.

Evelyn and Trick.

That's it for now.  I hope everyone has a great weekend!

A prompt call for the month of May.

This month's general theme falls under myths and fairytales and I will be splitting the money between myself and [personal profile] thelinesoflearning to help sustain them until they get a job.

There are new perks for donating and I am hoping that, if this goes well, I might keep things this way instead of how I was doing things before, so if you like the new perks/the offering of a theme/whatever, please let me know!

On Tuesday James got signed off for two weeks, given a new batch of antibiotics, and had some blood taken for tests. So far the antiobiotics don't seem to have done much, but I didn't really expect them to, because the last lot didn't work. He still has another couple of days to go, so I'm still hoping. The blood test results all came back clear, apart from the virals which we're still waiting for, so the next step is a urologist as he's already had a clear ultrasound. Not knowing what's causing the problem is the hardest part, especially as he's still in massive amounts of pain.

So that means we still don't really know how much time James is going to end up needing off. This week he'll be using his week of work sick pay, which means the rest of the time we'll be getting Statutory Sick Pay (if he's eligible), and any donations I can get will really help with paying the rent and buying groceries. One of the things I didn't mention is that I have a simple system set up for sponsoring a collection that I hope is useful and I'd love to get some interest in story bundles.
