Since the beginning of the year I've been working on posting 500 words a day, beginning some new stories and continuing others, and so far I've only missed one day. I've posted three meta-conversations with characters from my collections and I'm planning on doing more, because they're great fun to write. The prompter's story poll and voter's story poll are both up.

Last year, for NaNo, I started writing a story plotted by Elizabeth ([personal profile] ysabetwordsmith [personal profile] ysabetwordsmith) and towards the end of January I began posting it. It's called The Case of the Counterfeit Enchantments (the link will take you to the landing page at my website). A new part of the story goes up on every Monday and Thursday, donations of £5 get bonus stories (the first poll for the first bonus story is still running), and I'll be beginning a side story about one of the newer characters that we met. I'm currently still working on Part 8, because it's turned out to be one of the best parts for getting to know the characters and the setting.

Our theme this month was "houses & homes." I worked from 11:30 AM to 2 AM, so about 12 hours 30 minutes, allowing for breaks. Prompts were slow to come in, but picked up eventually and maintained through most of the day. I wrote 23 poems on Tuesday and 1 more later.

There was only one form poem this time. Most of the poems were combinations of two or three prompts. There were two size clusters at medium-long and epic ranges.

Activity was down on LiveJournal (42 comments) and up on Dreamwidth (21). A total of 23 people sent prompts. Please welcome new prompters [livejournal.com profile] polydad, [livejournal.com profile] rosieknight, and DW user adeliej. You have them to thank for the second freebie.
