I'm writing to let you know about 'Speaking Truth to Power'

My name is Zahdi.  I'm running this campaign to fund and expand my community website Warrior Witch. 

Warrior Witch is a portal for people with bright dreams to gather and share.  We have articles, works of art, featured products and services.  We aim to expand into events in the community, discussions and talks, hard-published works and more.  Help us make it happen.

Poetry for the masses! is now open. It will be running through Friday, and for every prompt you leave, I will be writing a poem. This month's theme is: "art through the ages, or how art imitates life, and life imitates art".

Halfway Through the Black Blossom Kickstarter

Our status so far:

• We are 264% funded with 77 backers, including a $1000 backer;
• We've hit our unabridged audiobook and book trailer voice-over stretch goals;
• We're only $39 of the $4K goal to get all three books in the series new covers;
• We've only gone one day without getting at least one backer;
• And the project's been chosen as a Kickstarter Staff Pick in the Publishing category.

The last in particular is giving me some interesting data; I am wondering how the statistics will look by the end of the project.

So far, this project has made more for me than any of the other three Kickstarters I've run; Spots was the closest at $3511, and needed over 100 backers to get to that point. Ten Sketches remains my most overfunded project at 589%, but it was also the smallest project I've done ($300 goal).

Nevertheless... running Kickstarters to make money? A tremendous amount of work. Maybe I'll sit back and sell myself as a Kickstarter project consultant to make money instead of doing them myself, in the future...!

Anyway, please do check us out! You can find the project here. I think this is a big win for independent writers. You don't have to be a big fish in the pond to still make your grocery money. Or in my case, child-homeschooling money. :)
