So I heard about this website on the news the other day. It's Indiegogo.com which lets you post your crowd-funded activities for free (there's fees that come out of the the money you raise, but you can read about them at the site if you're interested.)
As I am attempting to get my name out into the larger 'photography world', I started with a subscription service. The details can be found under the link, but the short version is that you subscribe for either 6 or 12 months and I send you a matted nature print each month. It's a way to be sure that at least once in a while you get something much more enjoyable than a bill in the mail!
