Good news for those of us who use Createspace to put out hard copies of crowdfunded work: Createspace will now be offering expanded distribution options to people who buy their Pro Plan. This means you'll be able to sell at your local Barnes & Noble; libraries will be able to request copies of your books, and your books should show up at other online stores.
The Pro Plan is a $40 upgrade that gives you a higher royalty rate per unit sold (and now will give you the expanded distribution). In my case, buying the Pro Plan has always paid for itself very quickly; your mileage may vary. But I think this is a very exciting development!
Edit: Here's an expanded FAQ about it on Createspace's site.
(As far as I know, Lulu doesn't have this... yet. Let's see how quickly they scramble to catch up.)
