I'd just like to take a moment to thank the very nice people who have welcomed me to this Community.

I'm always writing about being a writer -- which I swore I would never do -- which includes writing about publishing and the Brave and Scary New Worlds out there.

Check out www.donnabarr.blogspot.com for the details.

There are two new offerings from [livejournal.com profile] haikujaguar that I highly recommend to everyone:

1) The Sketchbook Retrospective continues with "Sketchbooks 31-35: Princess Leia Ain't Got Nothin' on Qethryn." Enjoy pictures from earlier in the artist's career, with commentary. Scans were funded by audience donations, and selections from the sketchbooks made based on audience interest.

2) The most popular of the Jokka stories, "Unspeakable," is now available on the Stardancer site, along with links to related artwork. This is some of the best gender-identity fiction I've ever read, for the Jokka face unique challenges based on their biology. There is a donation button available, in case you enjoy the story and want to help fund fiction. Because this is just the tip of the iceberg -- the Stardancer site will soon be offering more fiction!
