A successful crowdfunding

Hey folks--

I've successfully crowdfunded the publication of the first novel in my series. :) Fifty people kicked in on average $50 apiece, for a total of $2500--enough to hire a professional editor, cover artist and typographer. In exchange, they're getting a package of stuff including an autographed copy of the book and the manuscript before it's even sent to the printer.

It Can Be Done. If you have something worth reading, listening to, watching or seeing, get it out there.

I do freelance editing, if you haven't picked an editor yet. Cover art, hrm, I don't think haikujaguar is taking commissions right now, but some other crowdfunding artists do. I think flutterbychild is open. Without knowing the style of the book, though, it's hard to guess what kind of art might be a good match.

Oh, good. I've been meaning to ask about that; with more projects cropping up, we could sure use that kind of hub. Let me know when you have time to work on this.
