*bow, flourish*

Happy to be of service. I may be brokeass broke, but I still have my skills to chip in and support things I love.

I've noticed that a lot of the best crowdfunding projects tend to attract a few fans who are hugely enthusiastic. I've got [livejournal.com profile] marina_bonomi helping me with the cultural research for The Origami Mage and Fiorenza the Wisewoman. [livejournal.com profile] meeksp has several writers who regularly give prompts and boost the signal for new Story Sketches. It's a cool effect.

>>Having you involved has been wonderful for so many reasons but most of all for helping me to think more about everything that I'm writing.<<

That's a matter of mutual enjoyment, and one of the things I love about crowdfunding.

>> I hope that all the signal boosting you have done leads to more people like you getting involved in my writing.<<

I hope so too; that's a key reason why I'm doing it. This helps scratch my editorial itch for introducing people to good stories. Plus, I know that repeated references can pull people in; we see that with Torn World, where new folks often register saying, "I've been seeing posts about this for a while and I finally decided to see what it's all about."

Plus I hope that if I give folks some examples, we'll see more project reviews on this community, so that all the talk isn't just by and for creators but includes patrons too.
