True. I'm trying to remind folks that tendencies are not absolutes. Some publishers are good, others suck; they tend to condemn self-publishing, but maybe not all for the same reasons, and some publishers may be cool with it. The quality of product varies both in conventional and self-publishing. The behavior of people certainly varies in all locations. We're looking for trends and explanations, and ideas that we can use.
